New Mars Soiling Sensor Units (810230-20_01 and higher): These models, first shipped in 2023, use Wi-Fi for communication during user setup, meaning you no longer need a wired connection for configuration.
Older Mars Models (810230-01, 810230-20): These models require a wired Ethernet connection to a laptop for setup. This connection uses a specific RJ45 to 4-pin M12 Ethernet cable.
Cable Availability: The required RJ45 to 4-pin M12 Ethernet cable for was originally shipped with earlier Mars models and with older versions of the Configuration Kit 810276. However, we no longer ship this cable with the current products.
